Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru

finding a large family of rhinos instead of an endless group of flamingos

Location:

Lake Nakuru, Kenya

Duration:

Wednesday, June 8, 2016

Personal highlights

  1. Lake Nakuru: the name meaning "dusty place", does not represent this park
  2. Baboon Cliff: best place to get an overview of the beauty and size of the lake
  3. Makali Waterfall: allegedly (unproven) best place to spot wild cats like a jaguar
  4. Flamingos: once a great attraction, now completely vanished because of rainfalls
  5. Rhinoceros: spotting an unusually large group and getting closer than expected
