Personal highlights

  1. Luderitz: small, inhospitable German settlement at the Atlantic coast
  2. Atlantic: arriving at the other side of Africa from the Indian Ocean
  3. Freezing: having a quick swim in the cold water and drying in the sun
  4. Windy: nearly getting blown away by the rough Atlantic currents
