Personal highlights

  1. Erg Chebbi: largest stripe of lovely orange sand dunes, easily crossed in 2 hours
  2. Merzouga: one of the most touristic cities in Southern Moroccoinfo-icon, just to ride a camel
  3. Dunes: sand as far as you can see, yet sadly littered with plastic bottles and bags
  4. Camels: beautifully and tame animals, carrying people and bags across the desert
  5. Private tour across the desert: 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert
  6. Algeria: seeing across the closed border in the distance from the high dunes
